Terms of Use
Effective October 15, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Threevox, operated by an individual developer based in Israel (“we”, “us”), governing your use of the Threevox iOS app. By tapping Continue on the welcome screen, or by using the app, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.
1. What Threevox does
You ask one question; Threevox sends it to several third-party AI services and shows you their answers side by side. We are a comparison layer. We do not create the answers and we do not control the models that produce them.
Threevox is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI, Google, or Anthropic. ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude are trademarks of their respective owners.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Threevox. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the app with the involvement of a parent or guardian who accepts these terms on your behalf.
3. No account
Threevox does not have accounts, logins, or passwords. Your credit balance is tied to an anonymous identifier stored on your device. This has an important consequence:
The identifier is usually kept if you delete and reinstall the app on the same device, but this is not guaranteed. Restore Purchases confirms your purchases with Apple, but on a new or reset device your credits and subscription benefits may not follow automatically. In that case, contact support@threevox.app with your App Store receipt and we will review your request.
4. Credits, purchases, and subscriptions
- Free credits are provided at our discretion — currently 20 per week for users without an active subscription, renewed at 00:00 UTC each Monday. Free credits do not carry over: any left unused expire when the week ends. Buying a credit pack does not affect them. While a subscription is active it replaces the weekly free credits (free credits left from the current week stay until that week ends); when the subscription ends, weekly free credits resume. We may change or withdraw the free tier at any time.
- Cost per question — a text-only question consumes 1 credit; a question that includes an image consumes 3 credits.
- Daily limit — to prevent abuse, each user can send up to 10 questions per day (UTC) without a subscription, and up to 60 per day with an active subscription. Follow-ups count as questions. Credits are not used when a request is blocked by this limit.
- Credit packs are one-time consumable purchases. Credits are added to your balance and are consumed as you use the app.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled, and the monthly credit allowance resets at the start of each billing cycle. Unused subscription credits do not roll over. If a subscription is cancelled or not renewed, its credits remain available until the end of the period you paid for, and then expire. Credits from credit packs are not affected and do not expire.
- Refunds by Apple — if Apple refunds a credit pack, its credits are removed from your balance (credits already used are not charged back). If Apple refunds a subscription, it ends immediately and its remaining credits are removed.
- Cancellation is managed entirely through your Apple ID subscription settings, not through us. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period.
All purchases are processed by Apple. Credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and cannot be exchanged for money. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies — we cannot issue refunds directly, though we are happy to help you contact Apple. Prices may change; changes will not affect purchases you have already made.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Threevox to:
- Break the law, or infringe anyone’s rights
- Generate content that sexualises minors, incites violence, harasses or threatens people, or facilitates serious harm
- Attempt to bypass our content moderation, rate limits, credit system, or the anonymous identifier — including by generating identifiers repeatedly to obtain additional free credits
- Scrape, resell, or redistribute the service or its output as a competing product
- Probe, disrupt, or overload our infrastructure or that of our providers
Requests are screened automatically before they reach the AI providers. Repeated blocked requests may result in a temporary or permanent restriction on your use of the service. Credits are not refunded when access is restricted for a breach of these terms.
6. AI answers are not advice
AI models can be confidently wrong. Answers shown in Threevox may be inaccurate, outdated, biased, or entirely fabricated, and different models will often disagree with each other. Nothing in the app is medical, legal, financial, or professional advice. Verify anything that matters before you act on it.
Seeing three answers side by side is a tool for spotting disagreement — it is not a guarantee that any of them is correct, including when they agree.
7. Content and ownership
You keep whatever rights you have in the questions you write. You grant us permission to transmit them to our AI and moderation providers so we can operate the service. As between you and us, you may use the answers you receive freely, subject to the underlying providers’ terms and to the fact that AI output may not be protectable or exclusive to you. The app itself, its design, and its branding remain ours.
You warrant that you have the necessary rights to submit whatever you send us, and that doing so does not infringe or violate any third party’s rights. Each AI provider retains all rights in its own models and technology; nothing in these terms transfers any of their intellectual property to you or to us. If you send us feedback or suggestions about Threevox, you grant us an unrestricted, royalty-free licence to use them for any purpose, with no obligation to credit or compensate you.
8. Licence to use the app
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Threevox on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these terms. You may not sublicense, sell, rent, lease, or otherwise transfer this licence, or use the app to build a competing product.
9. Availability
We provide Threevox on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not promise uninterrupted service. Third-party AI providers can and do change, degrade, or withdraw their models, and we may add, remove, or substitute providers without notice.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on AI output. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the app is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or (b) USD 50. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, and some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the app, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or third party’s rights.
12. Termination
You may stop using Threevox at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or if we discontinue the service.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the app is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel.
14. Export controls
You may not use Threevox if you are located in, or a resident of, a country subject to a U.S. or Israeli government embargo, or if you are on any government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You agree to comply with all applicable export control and sanctions laws.
15. General provisions
These terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding Threevox, and replace any earlier agreements on the same subject. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Nothing here creates a partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between us. Neither of us is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
16. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will update the effective date above and notify you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Threevox after that means you accept the revised terms.
17. Apple
Apple is not a party to these terms and has no responsibility for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support for Threevox. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
